Pearl Izumi Women's Superstar Cycling Dress, Black, Large Review

Love this little cycling dress. At first I ordered a medium based on the size charts but it was too large through the waist. I like my exercise clothes to be more form fitting. The internal bra was also too large...even on the third set of hook and eye closure the band was too loose to support. I exchanged for a small and am much happier with the fit. The dress fits much better through the waist and the length is perfect. The internal bra is still just slightly too large, but I can live with it because I don't need much support cycling. The chamois short is very lightweight mesh.. not to be worn alone... but I like how cool they are to wear... very breezy and cool. It also attaches to the dress with little snaps. The shorts could use some grippers at the bottom... the legs slid up on my first ride. I'm 5'3", 130lbs, size 34C with an athletic build.

The Serendipity dress is the BEST-THING-EVER for EXPECTING MOTHERS! I am a long-time SkirtSports fan and am pregnant with my 4th child. This dress is the ONLY piece of apparel that is comfortable for running in with my huge belly. I have collected fitness apparel from several specialty maternity designers over the years but still reach for the Serendipity dress FIRST. It is really cute over maternity bike shorts and maternity capris plus I can wear my pregnancy support belt underneath without feeling self-conscious because the loose fit of the dress conceals it beautifully. I also love to wear this dress casually, it is perfect for a day out with the kids. Have it in Black and Black/Pink print. The only thing I would change is the fabric; I would love to see it in Skirtsports lightweight mesh fabric and maybe another color choice or two. It does not come with pants but all of us have black pants to wear. Boot covers need something to stop them from falling down such as velcro-ed straps you wife can easily make. Look is over all good. I wear a 43 jacket and this just fit, a bit snug but looks good that way and enough room for comfort.
