When I was 20, I bought a nice brown beret which was stolen or lost. I'm now 62 and felt like a replacement was in order. This nice French Basque beret is just the ticket and I wear it frequently. The thick wool felt is comfortable and warms my balding head and looks good on me. The overall diameter and headband size are just right. I doubt the headband is genuine leather as the description states so my guess is that it's some type of synthetic material. The price plus shipping is the least expensive that I've seen for this particular beret. So, briefly said, I'm quite satisfied with my purchase.
