I thought the bottom may be frumpy but its not. It does go up high on the waist. I purchased a 2xl which was a little big for an 18 but a 16 would be too small and I like that it doesn't push into my skin. I have enough caboose to fill it so not saggy. I bought an xl top for a 38dd. Snug under arms and around bust but that is needed for support as no underwire. Very flattering around middle.
