My Brother-In-Law got me these for Christmas and I adore them. I've only ever borrowed true winter gloves before, and they've all been too warm due to a lack of breathability. These breathe nicely, and some cold is allowed to come in through the palms, which for me is a good thing.

I have used them strictly for mountain biking. No experience with the gloves on a road ride.

My only complaint would be the I have to change my snot-wiping motion when I wear these gloves. The whole thumb is good for snot, but the crotch of the thumb and forefinger are not.
