I've been wearing primal wear shorts for 5 years and love the fit. I'm 5-8, 145 lbs and the medium shorts are perfect. With most brands of cycling shorts, the mediums fit around the waist but are too tight in the thighs, so I wear a large, which tend to be too big in the waist but fit in the thighs. I don't have this problem with Primal wear shorts as they fit well all around. I just received these shorts, but they're similar to the other primal wear items that I have and I can't wait to wear them. My only complaint is the price which is a bit outrageous, but I've found them to be durable. In 2008, I purchased 3 pair which were my primary shorts and they lasted about 3 years.
***Update after 3 rides - They fit as expected, but I'm pretty disappointed that they put their cheapest chamois in a pair of $90 shorts. The other primal wear shorts I've owned have the APX chamois which is much more comfortable than the E3 which comes in this short.
