I'm surprised that several sizes are available in this pant still because I think these are awesome! They are authentic. The ones I got look like they were originally in a store in Europe because the euro dollar sign was on the tag. I don't have the tag in front of me but just so people know the pant is made of cotton, silk, metal fabric and nylon I believe. It has a rough feel. These would work great for holiday parties, going to a club or even out on a date. Really flashy pants that can be made to fit a varity of situations. Sizing is true to Dolce and Gabbana sizing...SMALL. For example my sister who is a curvy size 6 wears a 44 in Dolce and Gabbana (needs the waist tailored in). I am usually a little more slender (but still a size 6) and I can wear the 42s. My other sister who is normally a size 4 with wide hips and toned thighs fits into the 42s very well but could also fit into the 40s. I think the thigh area is usually the slender part in Dolce and Gabbana so buy to fit your largest body part. Funny enough there is room for a curvy back side just not super curvy thighs. Don't be afraid to have the waist tailored in if needed. Sizing also depends on how tight you want your pants. I don't feel the sizing conversion charts are very accurate so you just have to know what size you wear in different brands. I love Dolce and Gabbana clothes and find many of the pants very classic. I find I can wear the styles for several years. The nice thing about designer clothes is they are usually made well and therefore hold up. I love buying clothes at a big discount and am usually able to get big name designer stuff for less than lower quality clothes at the mall.
