Bought this for rib protection during martial arts sparring following breaking ribs due to motorcycle-vs-deer incident. Vest fits snug as I expected to keep pad protection in place. Quality is very good, no obvious wear issues after many months of putting it on/off and washing.

As it is a compression style design and tight fitting, it does get warm during workouts so wear tee-shirt or similar underneath for comfort. have been kicked and punched in padded areas during sparing with no effect, pads absorb and distribute the impact.

Highly recommend. Recommended it to other classmates. might be good for rib protection for motorbiking -- but haven't tried that nor would want to put it to the test. :-)
