Compared to the more relaxed fit of active cargo pants, these pants have a more slim/tight fit.
They also ran a bit short rather than long; the picture actually shows that fairly well.

Color, construction, and quality are up to the Columbia name standards.

The insect repelling tech consists of an extra lining around the openings that is supposed to reduce gaps for bugs to crawl inside which doesn't seem effective, but could be. This partial lining is like a neon colored webbing. The rest of the garment is infused with permethrin, an insecticide you buy at the home store.
